CONSULTANCY | CMS REPORTING & DATA ANALYSIS OFFICER: COMPILING, CLEANING AND PREPARING DATA FOR CMS SYSTEM

 

Objective:

The following consultancy has the main objective of compiling the historical databases used by the HIAS Peru office, cleaning them and preparing them for the integration of data to the new internal HIAS CMS system.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • The consultant should have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Degree (Undergrad Level) in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data/Information Management, Advanced Statistical Analysis, Information Technology, and Software Engineering)
  • At least 3 years’ experience related to data management, and data migration processes including the use of common statistical analysis tools Power BI (Experience working with online data management and the visualization tool MS Power BI is a requirement).
  • Prior experience with data management of data sets from the humanitarian sector is an added advantage.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience in data management tasks.
  • Desirable previous experience working with HIAS, United Nations System, or other organizations working in the fields of humanitarian assistance, international development or social issues is desirable, but not a minimum requirement.
  • Strong writing and interpretive skills and experience producing data analysis reports, and proven ability to communicate technical information to non-specialist audiences.
  • Ability to translate planning-specifications into technical briefs for data collection and analysis, and vice versa. Understanding of different data collection methodologies.
  • Excellent writing skills, and ability to translate complex scenarios and data into reports for different audiences.
  • A creative and curious mindset is crucial as well as the ability to independently find effective solutions to problems.
  • Maturity and professional ability to handle sensitive information and ability to respect the confidentiality of such information while working with HIAS.
  • Experience working in multicultural settings is desirable.
